Accomplishing Goals (Part 4 of 9)

So, I was a free man!
I still worked at the grocery store, so I did that three or sometimes four times a week. I knew my nineteenth birthday was coming up and that meant a mission was very soon in the plan. I wanted to do everything I could to prepare for that. But I wanted to have fun along the way, too. My idea of fun was a little different than someone else’s. Fun to me was accomplishing goals. So I made a huge goal chart out of a piece of poster board and displayed it prominently in my room. Everything hinged on that goal chart. The main categories were: Daily scripture study, Crochet, Football kicking, Running, Piano practicing, Reading, BASIC computer programming, and Joseph Smith Oratorio.
