My Sister Karen (Part 6 of 9)

She sewed her dresses for school musical groups like orchestra, concert choir and madrigals. The madrigals had by far the most performances during a school year with over thirty separate engagements. With such a busy schedule, and all her other obligations, Karen was hard pressed to finish her dress on time for the first madrigal performance. She finally finished it just before she was to rush out the door. But the hem wasn’t in yet. So she grabbed some masking tape and quickly taped up a hem, vowing that she’d do it later. But Karen’s life was so full of activities that she never did have time to hem up the dress. You can’t blame her for that. She was always doing some good thing.
