My Sister Julie (Part 4 of 8)

Julie grew up with the notion that she was not able to sing very well. However, she over-came that mistaken idea and sang in the Concert Choir of Cottonwood High School. A few years later, when Julie and Karen were roommates at college at Utah State University, they would sit out in front of their house each night and whistle songs together. They would go on like that for half an hour or more.
Karen and Julie were always very good friends. Perhaps being so close in age gave them such a nice bond one with another. Whatever it was, it made them an inseparable pair. Once on a camping trip, they decided to sleep in the orange pup tent. Those two girls made a pathway to their tent and lined it with rocks. Even though we camped there for just a few days, Karen and Julie took great pride in their little “home.”
