One night when Christopher was about two years old he came down to my room in the basement. He had a cold, baked potato in his hand and he was eating it. He said to me, “I want to say my prayers in your room tonight.” So we knelt down at my bed and he said his prayers. Half way through he paused and didn’t say a word. I was patient for about a minute and then I looked up to find Christopher smiling. He was just finishing up chewing. He said, “I had to take a potato break.”
