One morning when Christopher could talk, he got up early and came out to the kitchen to watch Mom making breakfast. On mornings like this Mom usually said to Christopher, “You look all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed this morning, Christopher.” On this particular morning Christopher looked at Mom and said, “Mom, I’m bright-eyed and bushy-tailed!” On another morning Christopher got dressed by himself in a turtle-neck sweater. He came out to the kitchen and announced to Mom, “I’m turtle-the-neck!”
